John Wasilishen is a graduate of Stockton State College and has been training dogs professionally for over 14 years.
John has rehabilitated and obedience-trained thousands of dogs over the past 14 years. Cases from extreme fear based aggression to basic puppy management. The one common goal throughout is clear communication, understanding and respect between human and canine. The success of Pro-Dog’s programs are as rewarding to John as it is to his clients, both dog and human.
John’s expertise in canine psychology, development and behavior will help open the lines of communication and strengthen the bond between your dog and entire family.
In 1995 he began Pro-Dog Canine Training which has become a premiere, custom, private dog training school serving all of Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex and Mercer counties in New Jersey.
John has training in canine nutrition by nutritionists from the Iams and Eukunuba Company as well as with the Nutro brand company. He is an active member of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT).
Pro-Dog Canine Training’s philosophy is to teach dogs through effective communication, rather than strict forceful methods. John teaches obedience by building upon inherent strengths in the dog’s aptitude. He is also an expert on puppy whelping, raising and socialization.
John breeds American Bulldogs, he is a breed enthusiast who shows and competes with his Avalanche American bulldogs.
